Texas Tech Head Football Coach Kliff Kingsbury said four players have been suspended indefinitely. Kingsbury made his comments during practice Tuesday morning.
The four were arrested over the weekend after an incident at Bash Riprocks. A total of 10 people were arrested mostly for disorderly conduct.
Jett Duffey, Desmon Smith, Quan Shorts, and Christian Taylor were arrested early Sunday morning. All four had bonded out of jail by Monday morning.
Shorts and Smith were charged with disorderly conduct. Duffey and Taylor were charged with criminal mischief plus disorderly conduct.
Police said Taylor hit a car windshield and Duffey damaged property at ULOFTS. Police also said a crowd of approximately 150 people “became aggressive toward the responding officers.”
The charges against the players were misdemeanors.
Kingsbury said players are not allowed to go to Bash Riprocks.
