A Lubbock County Sheriff’s Tahoe was involved in a wreck on 89th street and Milwaukee Avenue on Monday evening around 6:45 p.m.
Witnesses on scene said a white pick-up truck struck the Sheriff’s Tahoe causing the Tahoe to hit a power line.
“I was driving south on Milwaukee whenever the crash happened and I just stopped right in the middle of the street and went over to the Sheriff to make sure he was okay and then went over to the pick-up and the driver was not there,” said witness Allie Henrie.
Lubbock County Sheriff Office said the suspect, Richard Bradley, was taken into custody around 10 p.m.
The Sheriff’s Deputy was taken by EMS as well as the passenger in the white pick-up truck.
South Plains Electric Coop is on scene repairing the power line that is dangling along Milwaukee.
Lubbock Police told us the deputy and a passenger suffered moderate to minor injuries.
