The Texas Department of Public Safety said a plane crashed in Lamb County Tuesday morning. DPS said the pilot was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital by Aerocare. DPS also said the Federal Aviation Administration would be investigating.
The Olton Enterprise said on Facebook that the crash site was “about a quarter mile north of the intersection of US 70 and FM1842.”
The paper also reported that the time of the crash was about 8:30 a.m.
A spokesman for University Medical Center in Lubbock confirmed the pilot was in critical condition.
A reporter on scene said the was plane owned by King Ag Aviation in Sudan.
