On Tuesday, the Floydada Police Department said that an ex-student made shooting threats against Floydada High School.
Noah Sarabia, 18, was charged with making a terroristic threat, according to the Facebook post.
The Floydada police said Sarabia withdrew from the school last week. They said he returned to the school to return property Tuesday.
While he was on campus, Floydada police said Sarabia posted a Snapchat image of the carpet with the caption “school shooter.” The police said he also took a photo of the front of Floydada High School.
According to the Facebook post, high school staff notified the department about the threats.
“Sgt. Ramon the FISD School Resource Officer worked quickly to identify the suspect and have a Warrant issued for his arrest for Terroristic Threat,” according to the Facebook post.
Sarabia was taken into custody in Crosby County, according to the post, and he is being held in the Lubbock County Jail.
