Lubbock Police found Carlos Martinez, 32, after a massive manhunt of more than 24 hours.  

Martinez was accused of injuring three officers when he hit them with an SUV on Thursday afternoon in the 3200 block of 62nd Street.  Police fired multiple shots at him but when he driving directly at one officer.  Martinez was able to get away.  

Police found Martinez just after 4:30 p.m. Friday in an alley near 73rd Street and Joliet.  He was arrested and taken from the scene by EMS. 

After the arrest LPD said the following on Facebook:

“Around 4:30 p.m., a citizen called police saying she saw Martinez in an alley between 73rd and 74th Street near Joliet. Officers nearby responded and arrested Martinez without incident. He appears dehydrated and will go to the hospital for medical clearance. He will then be booked into the Lubbock County Jail. We appreciate the public’s help in catching Martinez.”
