LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to the 3800 block of 56th Street on Thursday afternoon. The call came in at 3:37 pm.
“Crews arrived to find a shed, a storage building and a porch on fire,” LFR said.
“Crews also discovered that the fire had made its way into the home’s attic. Crews pulled ceilings and were able to extinguish the attic fire. Other crews extinguished the backyard building fires,” LFR said.
There were no indications of injury. LFR said the home suffered moderate damage.
“The cause of the fire was a bar-b-que grill that got out of control,” LFR said.
