TODAY: Today will be sunny with calm winds. If you plan on enjoying some time outside today, you’ll need a jacket through the lunch hour. Temperatures after school and work will peak between 59-60 degrees. The forecast for Lubbock is 59°. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the 30s, down to 31° in Lubbock.
TOMORROW: A warm trend starts tomorrow, with high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 60s for most of the South Plains. The forecast high for Lubbock is 68°. The sky will be partly cloudy, and winds will pick up form the southwest, 15-25 mph.
LOOKING AHEAD: The warmth peaks on Valentine’s Day, to the mid 70s. Unfortunately the winds will peak again Thursday, gusting to 40 mph. Friday will be slightly cooler, but still above average to the mid 60s. This weekend starts warm in the 60s Saturday, with a cold front likely by Sunday.
