Happy Thursday everyone! It has been a cool and sunny day across the South Plains with the warming trend expected to continue over the next few days. Highs will move back into the low 80’s tomorrow and then the upper 80’s and low 90’s by the weekend. Sunshine will continue to be abundant throughout the remainder of the work week and weekend so make sure to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated! Winds will stay calm through Saturday but as our next system approaches the area, wind speeds will pick up and cloud cover will be on the increase. This system will bring our next chance for rain beginning as early as Sunday night and continuing through Wednesday so make sure to keep an umbrella handy and stay tuned for updates.
