Two Texas Tech Women’s Tennis singles players and a doubles pair have qualified for the NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championships.
Junior Gabriela Talaba and sophomore Felicity Maltby have been selected to compete in the singles competition while doubles duo Sabrina Federici and Sarah Dvorak will represent Texas Tech in the doubles competition.
The singles and doubles competition will be conducted May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga., after the conclusion of the team championship, which runs from May 19-23. The University of Georgia will serve as host.
Talaba was selected as one of the Top 16 national seeds for the singles tournament.
The Lady Raiders (24-4) are set to face Quinnipiac (14-8) in the opening round of the NCAA Championship hosted at the McLeod Tennis Center.
