Volunteer firefighters from Edmonson and Kress were dispatched to a one vehicle accident early Saturday morning in far southwestern Swisher County.
The accident was reported along County Road 3, near County Road BB, northwest of Edmonson.
Firefighters at the scene told EverythingLubbock.com the vehicle, being driven by storm chasers based out of Oklahoma, cut the corner at the intersection and wrecked.
One person was transported from the scene by ambulance and was hospitalized. This individual’s injuries are known at this time.
The others in the vehicle were reported as unhurt.
The occupants were scheduled to pick up the vehicle later in the day, since it was stuck in the mud.
