The Texas Rangers are going into the 2017 with what they hope is an ideal situation with their outfielders. Part of the mix, newly resurgent Carlos Gomez who joined the team mid season in 2016 and resigned with Texas after the season. After being released by the Houston Astros, Gomez was grateful for the confidence and opportunity the Rangers provided him. He is hoping a solid 2017 and a return to the World Series will be his payback to the team.
