Those interested in contract work for the City of Lubbock are invited to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1625 13th Street. It will provide information regarding insurance and other requirements that are needed to be a contractor for the City.
Mowing contractors for the Codes Administration Department perform assigned mowing and rubbish removal services on private and public property and are paid for their services by the City of Lubbock. Community Development needs general contractors and/or builders to bid on residential rehabilitation and new construction projects. These projects are funded by grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide affordable housing for low to moderate income citizens of Lubbock.
