Blake Buchanan is the CEO, Founder and President of Bahama Bucks, a local dessert shop that started in Lubbock nearly 27 years ago.
“It was a wonderful college idea I had when I was a sophomore at Texas tech,” said Buchanan.
After finishing school he began to expand the company and now it is located in several states across the U.S. and there is also one in Puerto Rico.
“We definitely target the southern states and tropical climates because we do love sunshine. The furthest we go is Huntington Beach, CA and furthest east is Puerto Rico,” said Buchanan.
Buchanan said he anticipates the company to grow significantly over the next five years.
“We have store all across the nation and most everybody loves our product. Sno is a universal product most everybody welcomes it when we go to new cities,” said Buchanan.
