Texas Tech was oh so close to pulling off the biggest win of the season but #3 Kansas survived a hostile crowd at United Supermarkets Arena with an 80-79 win.
Josh Jackson was fouled with three seconds remaining and would sink one of two free throws to give the Jayhawks the lead for good.
Tech was led by guards Keenan Evans and Niem Stevenson,
Evans added 25 points, he was 4-4 from three point range.
Stevenson scored a career high 22 points on 8-17 shooting.
