A cold front has already moved into the area. So, we are feeling its effects this morning, as temperatures are in the teens already northwest of Lubbock. We’re in the mid 20s here in the Hub, but expect temperatures to drop before sunrise, before increasing this afternoon. Skies will see a mix of clouds & sun today, as we’ll only see a high of 45°.
Skies will clear out overnight pretty quickly. That will allow for temperatures to drop down into the low 20s once again for Saturday morning. There will be teens to the northwest. So, be sure to bring in the pets tonight & bundle up if you’re headed out tomorrow morning. The rest of the day will see sunny skies, as highs get closer to average. Lubbock’s average is 55° & we’ll reach a high of 54° tomorrow, with 10-15 mph wind.
