A late run in the fourth quarter wasn’t enough as the Texas Tech Lady Raiders fell to No. 22/25 Oklahoma, 66-45, on Saturday afternoon.
After an Oklahoma (14-4, 5-1) 11-0 run in the first two minutes of the game, the Lady Raiders (11-6, 3-3) charged back with a 11-4 run of their own to make it a four-point game in the first quarter.
Oklahoma came out of the half with a 22-10 third quarter to push the Sooner lead to 56-28. Tech went on to outscore the Sooners, 17-10, in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to surpass OU’s lead.
With two in double figures, the Lady Raiders have had two players with 10+points in 15 of the 17 games played this season. Junior Larryn Brooks led the team with 12 points, two rebounds and two steals. Jada Terry followed with 10 points, five boards and a block against the Sooners.
