Texas Tech fell to Oklahoma 84-75 for their third-straight loss in Norman, OK. The Red Raiders closed the gap to three points, after Tech’s junior guard Shadell Millinghaus hit an acrobatic layup to cut Tech’s deficit to 56-59.
However, from there the Sooners would closed out the game on a 25-19 run, en route to handing the Red Raiders their third straight Big 12 road loss.
Texas Tech (13-4, 2-3 Big 12) was destroyed on the glass, being out-rebounded by Oklahoma (7-9, 1-4 Big 12) 39-27, including 13 offensive rebounds collected by the Sooners.
Oklahoma also beat Tech at the free throw line, attempting 23 more free throws on the night.
Texas Tech will be back on the floor when they host TCU (14-3, 3-2 Big 12) on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the United Supermarkets Arena. The game will be broadcast by FOX Southwest.
