The National Weather Service is forecasting a mostly rain event in Lubbock for the weekend. With the updated forecast information, the City of Lubbock has returned to normal operating conditions, which is level 4, after enhancing operations Friday morning to increased readiness, which is level 3.
The City will continue to monitor NWS forecasts and conditions. City crews will remain on stand-by status and will be called back and deployed should conditions warrant. Updates will be posted at mylubbock.us and on City of Lubbock social media sites.
