Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures dropping to the lower 50s. We could see some patchy fog and drizzle with moisture that has moved back into the region. There is a slight chance for some isolated showers heading into Christmas morning.

Tomorrow: Best chance for rain early Christmas day will be off the Caprock and into the Rolling Plains. We will completely dry up by noon as that rain pushes off to the east. The cloudy conditions in the morning should start to clear up through the afternoon. Temperatures will stay mild, and top out around 60 degrees. The main story for Christmas day will be the windy conditions. We’re expecting wind from the west sustained at 20-35 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Make sure to secure all outdoor holiday decorations and watch out for blowing dust.

Merry Christmas!
