Wednesday afternoon will be sunny & with no real clouds passing through the area. High pressure will quickly build in behind the front which keeps things calm in west Texas. The high will be noticeable lower, only getting to 65° here in Lubbock. That is way better than how cold it was during Thanksgiving week in 2015. We will not be seeing any ice, or anything like that this year. So, get out & enjoy the nice weather this week.
Thanksgiving Day is looking like a great day to, perhaps, cook with some doors or windows open, unless you start to get some hungry neighbors coming by! The sun will be shining bright on Thursday & we’ll be looking at a warmer day than Wednesday. Expect the high to reach 69°, which is well above average. We do need the rain, but at least there won’t be any plans ruined on account of the weather.
