The sun will come back out for the day on Saturday. However, with this colder air mass still overhead, things will remain on the chilly side. We’ll see a high of 57° in Lubbock. Highs will be in the low 50s to the northwest & low 60s in the Rolling Plains. The wind will remain light tomorrow, so it will actually feel better than we will be seeing today. You’ll still need to dress warm with those highs staying below average.

A ridge of high pressure will move back over us on Sunday. This is going to help promote warmer air & more sunshine. The wind is going to increase to 10-15 mph as that air warms up. We’ll be looking at a high of 70° in Lubbock. Highs will be in the mid 60s to the northwest. This will be the best day to get outdoors this weekend. It will feel much warmer than Saturday, so get out & enjoy it. We’ll drop our lows down into the low 40s to start out Monday.
