A federal grand jury in Lubbock indicted Sidney Caleb Lanier, Jessica Christine Holl and Jamie Marie Robertson on Wednesday. The charge against them was conspiracy to distribute and possess fentanyl.
The three were already arrested on October 27 after a drug bust in two locations – 154th Street & Frankford Avenue and 4901 4th Street.
Fentanyl is more powerful than morphine and even small amounts can be deadly. A previous government statement said the maximum penalty is 20 years in federal prison.
Lanier, Holl and Robertson remained in the Lubbock County Detention Center as of Wednesday afternoon.
