Lubbock Police arrested Jayme Adams, 36, of Lubbock for evading police in a motor vehicle.  Police said officers were called to South Loop 289 Thursday evening for the report of one driver sideswiping another. 

“When officers arrived, the arrestee refused to stop and kept driving on the loop,” police said. “There was a short pursuit and the arrestee finally came to a stop.”

Police also said, “He was arrested for evading arrest. He was also cited for failure to leave information, failure to report and accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and unsafe lane change.”

Adams was held Friday in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
