As the weather turns cooler, many are settling into a season when their health often faces numerous challenges. Beyond cold and flu season, they may find themselves less active and sometimes overwhelmed by all the work and social commitments that dominate these months.
That’s why Brightstar Care Lubbock with several area health providers and vendors want to assure that area resident can look forward to a proactive approach to wellness during the challenging fall and winter seasons.
“The best defense is a good offense. And the best way to avoid seasonal illnesses and injuries is to give your body all the tools it needs,” said Kim Finley, health fair organizer for Brightstar Care Lubbock.
He added that while no one can prevent all the trials that come from the changing season and busy time of year, attending the health fair may connect them to providers who can offer helpful steps to prevent illness and injury, also enhancing their own sense of health and wellness with information being provided by a variety of local vendors at the community-wide health fair.
