Happy Tuesday everyone! We have had another warm and breezy day with highs in the upper 80’s and low 90’s. However, starting tomorrow the warm temperatures will disappear as a strong cold front pushes into the region. This first front will be a dry one, only dropping our temperatures into the mid-70’s. The second front will push into the South Plains late Thursday afternoon bringing another cool down and a chance for showers and thunderstorms through Friday morning. Right now it looks like these will just be general thunderstorms with nothing severe expected at this time. Make sure to stay tuned for updates in case this changes. Temperatures will move into the low 60’s on Thursday before we see sunshine return to the forecast and temperatures quickly move back into the 80’s over the weekend. Thankfully, this means that we should have gorgeous weather just in time for the high school and Tech football games!
