It was definitely nice to see the showers & storms in the area over the weekend, but we could still use some more. Well, we won’t be seeing rain this week, as high pressure is in control. That means to expect sunny skies, warm air & dry conditions. Lubbock will see a very sunny afternoon, with light wind. So, we will reach a high of 94°.
Tomorrow is looking to be much of the same. With this high not moving too much, expect there to be more sunshine & light wind. Highs will be very similar to Monday, as Lubbock will get to 92°, with many spots off the Caprock seeing highs in the mid and even some upper 90s. The last few days of summer will definitely remind us that it’s still the hot season!
