Tuesday night is going to see showers & storms increase to 40% for the area. There will be storms lingering through Wednesday morning, then continuing Wednesday afternoon & evening. Coverage during the day Wednesday will be at 40%, as well. So, there will be more storms around, which we really do need. Highs will be in the low 80s, with upper 70s northwest & mid 80s in the Rolling Plains.
Showers & storms will begin to exit the area Thursday, however we’re still looking at 30% for the storms in the afternoon. They will be more scattered, but storms will be around, which is great! They will begin to taper off after sunset Thursday evening. Highs will be kept in check, thanks to the clouds & rainfall. Lubbock will get to 82°, lower highs west & slightly higher temperatures to the east.
