Last season the Texas Tech defense ranked third to last against the run in Division 1 football, and it seems that things haven’t changed.
The Red Raiders allowed 301 yards on the ground and Sun Devil’s running back Kalen Ballage gashed the Tech defense scoring six touchdowns on the ground.
Ballage added one receiving TD to tie the FBS single game record for touchdowns in a game with 7.
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury wasn’t pleased with any aspect of the game,
“I don’t know all three sides of the ball didn’t play very well, offensively had a bunch of miscues hadn’t seen out of us defensively couldn’t tackle, if you play like that, that’s what is going to happen.”
Tech now prepares for Louisiana Tech, the Bulldogs visit the Jones this Saturday.
