Due to scheduled maintenance, the main telephone line for Lubbock Power & Light, 775-2509, will be unavailable starting at 7 a.m. Sunday, August 21. Work is expected to be completed within a 24 hour period and the telephone system will be back in service first thing Monday morning.
Customers wishing to use 775-2509 in order to pay their City of Lubbock utility bill on Sunday will need to utilize one of the other payment options available. Customers may pay their bill online at LPandL.com or by visiting one of the 32 Western Union payment centers located throughout the city.
If an LP&L customer experiences an interruption of service due to weather or other factors, they may report their outage by sending a text or email to lightsout@lpandl.com or by calling 775-2555.
