By Friday, the skies will turn to mostly sunny. That is going to help to bring in warmer air, unfortunately. So, Friday’s highs will be closer to average in the low 90s. There will be a low shot to see any thunderstorms, once again. Coverage will be 10% at best Friday, with pretty much everyone staying dry.

The weekend will start out with increasing clouds. Saturday is actually the best day to see any rain over the next seven. However, the downside is that the storms will cover 20% of the area. So, we’re still talking about spotty storms, with most staying dry. Highs will be much lower in the afternoon, which is great to see. Lubbock will get to 89°, with more low 80s by early next week.
