The area has been seeing a trend of cooler air lately. That is something that we love to see this time of year. We have been missing out on the showers & thunderstorms, which we don’t like to see. Well, today will be sunny & dry, with warmer air. Highs will typically stay in the low 90s this afternoon with light wind. However, the trend will be much cooler air across the area, which is great!
By tomorrow, we will be talking about more clouds coming back. Highs will be dropping down into the upper 80s for Lubbock & most of the South Plains. The Rolling Plains will be seeing highs in the low 90s. Thanks to a disturbance, isolated thunderstorms will be back in the forecast. However, coverage will be 10% & really only favoring the low Rolling Plains.
