Motorists driving eastbound Marsha Sharp Freeway (MSF) on Thursday Aug. 18, can expect delays as the exit ramp between 82nd Street and Upland Avenue is closed to traffic. The ramp closure will allow crews to safely continue paving operations on the eastbound freeway frontage road and ramp.
Beginning at 6 a.m. all eastbound traffic will be detoured onto the frontage road at the 82nd Street exit. Drivers will then be able to continue east via the freeway frontage road or use 82nd Street to navigate around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and various frontage road lane closures.
Message boards informing motorists of the scheduled ramp closure are in place. The ramp is expected to reopen to traffic late-afternoon. Work will take place weather permitting.
