TODAY: The much anticipated cold front is approaching this morning from our northwest. Cloud cover will stick with us throughout today and by later this afternoon/evening we’ll have a better chance for more scattered rain and storm activity. Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall resulting in flooding issues. High temperatures today will also be cooler, climbing near the 90 degree mark.
TONIGHT: Scattered rain/storms will continue to move through the South Plains overnight as the cold front works its way south of our viewing area. Expect cloudy skies as well as low temperatures in the mid 60s.
TOMORROW: The frontal boundary will stall south of us tomorrow. Earlier in the day most of us still have the chance for a few lingering storms, but by later only our southern counties will see the rainfall. Behind this front we’ll also be talking about cooler temps in the mid 80s for your entire weekend!
Have a great Friday!
