Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones isn’t the only one making waves at Cowboys camp.
Ex-Baylor head coach Art Briles spoke with reporters on Tuesday.
Surprisingly, he did answer questions about Baylor and described himself as being ‘dumbfounded by his firing amid Baylor’s rape scandal.
Then Briles even went a step further and said that he believes he’ll be coaching before the 2016 football season is even over.
“I hope November, December, that’s what the plan is,” Briles answered in regards to when he hopes to be coaching again. “Unfortunately some jobs will become open. I’ve never rooted against anybody or any team, but that’s the nature of the business. So we’ll see what happens.”
A reporter then asked Briles if he was confident that with what happened at Baylor, won’t keep him from getting another job.
“I’m just going to…Because I know who I am. I know what I’ve been for 60 years,” Briles said. “You know, people may doubt what you say, but they’ll always believe what you do, and I’ve always lived my life in a righteous manner.”
