On July 30, 2016 at 5:08 p.m. the City of Littlefield issued a boil water notice for our public water system. Due to an interruption in service the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system to inform its customers, that due to the possible presence of contaminates water must be boiled prior to consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels and/or bacteriological quality. TCEQ has been provided with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Tuesday August 2, 2016.
