Spirit Airlines flight 875 from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Portland International Airport (PDX) returned safely to DFW a short time ago following reports of a possible cabin pressure issue. After considering a diversion to the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (LBB), the captain and dispatchers determined it was safe for the plane to return to DFW. Passengers are being deplaned now and they will be placed on another plane set to depart for PDX shortly. Mechanics will conduct a full inspection of the plane to determine what caused the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience and we’ll be issuing future flight credits to all impacted customers.
