Remember Our Heroes is a non-profit, grassroots organization that supports throughout the world and especially here in the South Plains. They help aid veterans upon their return from serving to transition into civilian life. They strive to “Honor the Fallen, but Supporting the Living,” to help veterans be successful in life.
Each year this organization hosts an event called the Heroes Banquet to help raise money money for veterans as the return home from serving. This money benefits the soldiers in so many ways in making that transition into regular life. Last year’s banquet helped raise $121,378 for this organization. The banquet will be held on October 4th.
