We are expecting showers and thunderstorms tonight. Some could be severe with the main threats being large hail and strong winds. A cold front will move through overnight which will drop temperatures and give us another chance for rain. After the front moves through, an upper level low will move into Texas. This low will give us the energy we need to see more rain. Rain chances last into Thursday. On Friday, most of us should stay dry although our southeastern counties could see some isolated rain throughout the day. Sunshine returns this weekend as well as warmer temperatures.
