Today: It’s a perfect day to end the school year and begin summer break! Temperatures will rise to the upper 80s on the Caprock and lower 90s off the Caprock under sunny conditions. Winds will be coming in from the west 15-25 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies will continue overnight with breezy conditions. Temperatures will fall below normal for this time of year into the lower and mid 50s.
Extended: Rain and storm chances will make a comeback on Sunday as a storm system moves in from the west. We’re looking at a 30% chance for storms on Sunday and Monday. Some of those could potentially turn severe with strong winds and hail, but as of now, it’s just looking like a good rain event. Rain chances will continue until the end of the work week.
Have a great holiday weekend!
