The weekend will start off dry & warm. Saturday will be seeing plenty of sunshine with that wind at 10-15 mph, so not too high. This will be the best day to get outdoors this weekend. Just remember that sunscreen & to drink plenty of fluids if you’re doing strenuous activity outdoors. Highs will stay in the low 90s for Lubbock & mid 90s to the east.
Sunday starts the cool down, as well as the thunderstorms. Storms will be isolated, covering 10% of the area. We’ll see more clouds than sun & a high of 84°. Memorial Day Monday is looking to see more clouds than sun, as well, with highs in the low 80s. There will be more thunderstorms in the area, covering 30%. So, be sure to keep an eye to the sky this weekend & be weather aware!
