Tonight: Expect mostly cloudy conditions overnight with the slim chance for isolated storms into the early morning hours. Temperatures will drop into the lower and mid 60s, with winds from the south southeast 15-20 mph.
Tomorrow: Sunday will be the better chance for severe storms. Scattered storms will develop west along the dryline and continue to move east through the afternoon into early evening. Temperatures will climb into the low to mid 80s, and the daytime heating mixed with the dryline will create the perfect conditions to spark severe storms. Main threats with these storms will be strong wind gusts 60-70 mph, large hail, and the possibility for few tornadoes. The favorable area for tornadoes will be into the Rolling Plains.
