There is some dense fog out in the area this morning, especially along the loop & I-27 here in Lubbock. So, be careful as you head out to start your day. Dense fog will cause issues with visibility. It will hang around through 9:00 am, then we’ll see mostly sunny skies the rest of the day. Remember not to use your high beams in foggy driving conditions.
This afternoon will be see the sunshine, with warmer air coming back around. The wind will be shifting to the south at 10-15 mph. Lubbock will be seeing a high of 82°. Highs will be in the mid & upper 80s in the Rolling Plains & upper 70s to the northwest. We will be staying dry this afternoon, so it’s looking like a great day to get outdoors and enjoy the nice weather.
