“I’m excited for the opportunity to work day-to-day with Marc and Delbert,” McClendon said. “The relationship we’ve built over the years and the familiarity I’ve gained with their business will enable me to comfortably step into this role.”
McClendon has an extensive background in real estate and business litigation and transactions. He also is an active member within the Lubbock community, having served on the volunteer boards of First Christian Church and Broadway Festivals. He is currently the board president of the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA).

The relationship continued through the growth of the companies, including the duration of the Overton redevelopment project.
“We’ve had a long and valuable relationship with the McClendon Law Firm,” Delbert McDougal said. “Bringing Mont in-house just makes good sense.”
