We are looking at another clear start to the day all around the area. That will stick this afternoon, as we will see a sunny day, wind is going to be at 10-15 mph with highs in the low 90s. Lubbock will reach 93°, with mid 90s east & upper 80s to the northwest. This afternoon will feel very similar to yesterday, but it will be more muggy off to the east.

We will watch that dry line hang around the eastern Rolling Plains counties tonight. That will be the focal point for showers & thunderstorms after midnight. The moisture will be very good in that region, as well as life & wind shear. So, any thunderstorm will have the capability of large hail. The timing for these storms will be after 1:00 am, until 7:00 am tomorrow.
