NOTE: Late Thursday afternoon, NMSP sent an update saying, “Please cancel the Amber Alert for Angelo Jaramillo. The child has been located in Albuquerque, NM.”
The Sandoval County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating Angelo Jaramillo, a four (4) year old, Hispanic male, approximately three feet (3′) tall weighing forty (40) pounds.
Angelo Jaramillo was last seen wearing an orange tee shirt, blue jeans, Spider Man shoes (blue and red), with possibly a blue sweatshirt. Angelo Jaramillo was abducted from the Jemez Valley Elementary School in Jemez, NM this morning by his mother, Angelica Garcia, who does not have custodial rights and may have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the abduction.
Angelica Garcia is a twenty-three (23) year old Hispanic female, five feet one (5’1″) inches tall weigning 110 pounds. At the time of the abduction, Angelica Garcia was wearing a pink shirt with a white under-shirt, blue jeans, and had her hair in a pony tail.
Angelica Garcia left in an older model silver Ford Taurus with unknown registration. The vehicle was driven by a male wearing a red baseball cap and gray sweater. The vehicle may have driven southbound on Highway 4 toward US 550.
