LUBBOCK, Texas — The San Francisco Giants drafted Texas Tech’s Caleb Kilian with the 236th overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft.
In the 2019 season, Kilian had an ERA of 3.58 with a record of eight wins and three losses. Kilian also logged 72 strikeouts on the season.
Kilian is now the third Red Raider off the board in the 2019 MLB Draft. He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 20th round back in the 2018 draft, but decided to stay on at Texas Tech.
The remainder of the MLB Draft will last until Wednesday.
