Cross town rivals Monterey and Coronado met at O’Banion field for a Friday night match up.
Coronado started off with a hot Ryan Acebedo home run, but Monterey didn’t go down like that. The Palinsmen fought back with 3 runs and ended up taking the game 3-2 over the Mustangs.
Monterey gets back to action Amarillo High on Tuesday.
Coronado takes on Tascosa on Tuesday.
