The Cooper Lady Pirates visited San Angelo on Wednesday to take on the Lake View Maidens.
Cooper would get out to an early 1-0 lead in the first, before Kaitlyn Klemke extended the lead to 3-0 with a 2-run home run to right field. The Lady Pirates wouldn’t look bat and go on to win, 5-2.
Next up for Cooper, they will host Lubbock High on Friday with the district title on the line.
