Monterey stepped out of district play on Tuesday when they hosted Hobbs at Lady Plainsmen Field.
The Lady Eagles jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after the first inning. In the third, they would add three more, two on an RBI double from Brie McGill. Hobbs would go on to win by a final of 9-1.
Next up for Monterey, they will visit Tascosa on Friday.
