We’re starting out this Tuesday with cloudy skies & some light fog here in Lubbock. Just be careful if you’re headed out early. Some places may have some dense fog. There are light showers to the northwest of Lubbock, moving into the southern panhandle. Showers & storms are expected to stay away form Lubbock today, as we’ll stay partly sunny.
Even though we’ll see some sunshine today, the clouds will be more dominant than they were on Monday. That will help to keep highs down into the upper 60s today, with light wind. Lubbock will remain dry, as any storms will stay in the southern panhandle, or over in the Rolling Plains this evening. There is more moisture available in the Rolling Plains later this evening.
